Fuchsia is a capability-based operating system currently being developed by Google. It first became known to the public when the project appeared on GitHub in August 2016 without any official announcement. In contrast to prior Google-developed operating systems such as Chrome OS and Android, which are based on Linux kernels.
Google has been developing the new Fuchsia OS in the open for the past year Google is currently developing a new software called Fuchsia OS.
Google’s Fuchsia OS has no official confirmation on what it will be used for, but it is an operating
system that seems could be used on computers, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and embedded systems as screens on cars.
All Google’s operating systems, Android and ChromeOS are based on Linux, but Fuchsia OS is not. Instead, Google hasdeveloped
a new microkernel called Zircon kernel, formerly named Magenta.
Google Fuchsia OS’s core is written in mostly C and C++, Go, Rust, Python, Dart and Swift, which is something mobile app development companies will like.
